Product presentation: Hörbert made of wood now plays the music in the children’s room

Wood is original, feels good and is durable. For many parents, this high-quality material is therefore also the desirable alternative for children’s toys.

Winzki GmbH & Co. KG, Frickenhausen, produces with a portable MP3 player in a wooden box, named Hörbert. Hörbert has a built-in speaker. Music and audio books come from a rewritable memory card. This already contains more than 140 minutes of music and audio books on delivery.

Children with their little fingers can press a total of nine large, colourful buttons on the wooden case to play their favourite music or stories over and over again. Several music titles or audio book chapters can be stored behind each key. Children quickly learn that Hörbert plays the next track by pressing a key again. Due to the described operating concept, Hörbert does not require a fragile display.

Using its software for Windows and Mac, parents can add additional content from MP3 files or audio CDs to Hörbert’s memory card on the computer at home. The standard SD card has enough room for music and texts with a total duration of 17 hours. The four AA batteries included in the delivery are sufficient for approx. 50 hours of playing time.

This audio player combines the advantages of the natural material wood with functionality and safety suitable for children in accordance with applicable standard regulations. For example, the colourful key caps are made of phthalate-free ABS plastic. No control element can be removed by hand. The rear wall of the radio play is tightly closed with a recessed screw with a penny slot. The housing is coated to resist saliva and perspiration. The metals used are stainless and the loudspeaker grille is made of stainless steel. The maximum volume can be limited. The small company uses a lot of manual work to ensure that the listener can meet high standards of careful, health-conscious and sustainable workmanship.

Hörbert, the hard-wearing, musical companion in a wooden box with its specific material and equipment quality is available from 239 euros. It can also be personalised with an engraving on request. The radio player including accessories and spare parts can be obtained from: https://www.hoerbert.com. Hörbert comes in a reusable cardboard box without filling material.
