How to connect hörbert with a Bluetooth receiver, e.g., wireless headphones

Please proceed as follows:

Step 1 – Activation of Bluetooth and Pairing in SET Mode

1. Open hörbert’s back panel with the help of a coin and pull it out. Then turn hörbert on by pressing the volume dial. It will then play normally from the memory card.
2. Press the SET mode button inside. hörbert will mute and is now in SET mode.
3. Press the light green button to activate Bluetooth. A single, bright beep should sound, which means: Bluetooth is activated.
4. Press the yellow button for pairing. A single, bright beep should sound, which means: Pairing is activated.
5. Then press the SET button inside hörbert again to save. hörbert will then play again from its memory card.
6. Turn hörbert off again.

Step 2 – Pairing with Headphones (Bluetooth Receiver)

1. Turn hörbert on by pressing the dial once. The LED inside on the SET button now blinks twice per second.
2. Then turn on the headphones and activate Bluetooth there if necessary.  hörbert and the headphones now have 60 seconds to connect.  hörbert will then switch its sound to the headphones.
3. We recommend deactivating Bluetooth on other surrounding devices or switching off other devices before attempting to connect with hörbert.
4. Once the connection with the first headphones is established, the LED on the SET button blinks again. You now have another 60 seconds to connect a second pair of headphones. Note: not all headphones support the simultaneous use of two sets, especially not from different brands or models. In our tests, for example, the following headphones worked well in dual operation: JBL JR 310 BT.
