hörbert donation to the Blue House Entertainment at the Sickbed – Winzki Company donates 3 “hörbert” audio players for children with cancer

Stuttgart, October 23, 2015. A donation in the form of three high-quality wooden MP3 players was handed over today by Rainer Brang, managing director of the company Winzki from Nürtingen, to Prof. Dr. Stefan Nägele, executive board member of the Förderkreis krebskranke Kinder e.V. Stuttgart.

The portable devices named “hörbert” were presented directly on-site at the oncology children’s ward of the Olgahospital and will be used there in the future as music and audio book players. The solidly crafted hörbert is made of wood, stainless steel, and digital components and was invented by Rainer Brang in Stuttgart-Vaihingen. Now, two of these devices will bring joy and distraction from everyday clinic life to the brave patients in their hometown. Another device will be used in the playroom of the Blaues Haus. The Blaues Haus is the family house of the Förderkreis where families can live nearby the Olgahospital and recharge their strength during the treatment of the children.

“We are very happy that the company Winzki is providing these child-friendly devices that will surely bring a lot of joy to the patients in their everyday clinic life,” said Prof. Dr. Stefan Nägele at the on-site handover.
