Hello dear Hörbert Team,
My nephew has a disability, and at first, I was concerned whether he could operate the player at his age of 6. But after almost 2 weeks of just pressing buttons without listening to anything – out of sheer excitement that HE can achieve something on his own, he is now incredibly adept at navigating his player.
Since I don’t want to change the order, I have assigned all pre-recorded audio plays to one button and distributed all other CDs he has in a logical order on the other buttons. My nephew is a disabled child and doesn’t understand if the bird wedding doesn’t play first on the green button.
I would like to sincerely thank you, because this player is really the best there is – at least for my nephew.

We are a strong team with technical know-how and many years of development work that have already been incorporated into our products. The goal: to build bridges between people, technology, and the ability to independently listen to music and stories. Nevertheless, we leave no stone unturned in addressing very specific needs.
The operation of our products is intuitive and analog. There is no display; navigation through the content is done by pressing a button.
Through custom adaptations for connecting external control buttons, such as so-called “Jelly Buttons,” our products can also be used by people who can manage only a single button press with their hand, elbow, chin, or foot.
The configuration and setting of all functions are quick and easy via the Browser Set Mode – a user interface in a web browser that can be accessed with a Wi-Fi-enabled device, such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer.

Additionally, our products offer the possibility to assign voice commands, words, or sentences to the colorful buttons, thanks to the integrated speech microphone. This allows people who cannot use their voice or speech to communicate with their environment at the push of a button.
The available audio content of our memory card editions is carefully curated and already offers the right choice for many needs and life situations. However, it is of course also possible to transfer completely individual content tailored to the respective person via the Browser Set Mode on a smartphone/tablet or by copying in the computer’s file manager onto the memory card.
Additionally, there is a Bluetooth streaming function, so that Spotify playlists can be played if desired or other streaming services can be used, or hörbert can also be listened to with wireless headphones.
With hörbert, you can listen to internet radio over Wi-Fi, offering unlimited audio content and constantly new listening material, without relatives or care staff needing to get involved to provide new content.
