03/2021 – Hörbert presents: The new memory card edition “JANOSCH”.

Press Release

In cooperation with floff publishing, a new ready-to-play memory card featuring 14 bestselling stories from the world of characters by JANOSCH was created in the month of the worldwide renowned author and illustrator’s 90th birthday. The edition also includes two children’s audio plays by Florian Fickel, with many well-known and beloved children’s songs.

In 1960, Janosch’s first children’s book “The Story of Valek, the Horse” was published. Horst Eckert, as Janosch is known by his real name, had his breakthrough in 1978 with his legendary children’s book “Oh, How Beautiful is Panama”. Janosch became one of Germany’s most successful children’s book authors. His works have been translated into over 100 languages worldwide and he has been awarded the German Children’s Book Prize among others.
Today, Janosch lives on the Canary Islands and celebrated his 90th birthday on March 11, 2021.
Following “Oh, How Beautiful is Panama”, numerous other Janosch stories about the little Tiger and the little Bear followed, which still delight young and old listeners or readers around the world.

The sustainable children’s music player Hörbert arrives as a ready-to-play package with pre-recorded content on an SD card in children’s rooms. With the help of the free Hörbert software, parents can also fill the memory card with their own music and audio plays on a computer. Additionally, manufacturer WINZKI offers pre-recorded memory cards for purchase. This makes it possible, even without investing time, to quickly obtain ready-to-play audio content. The new memory card edition “JANOSCH” contains 8 hours of music and stories for children aged 4 and older.
