Memory Card Edition Edelweiss

Karin Glanzmann has been involved with stories and music for nearly 30 years and has recorded countless Swiss dialect children’s songs, stories, and musicals. As a trained music therapist, she loves to see the positive effects that music and singing can have on the body. For about 10 years, she has been singing with people with dementia, as well as with people in nursing homes, which spans the arc from infancy to old age. Singing is an underestimated fountain of health for every age, strengthening and uplifting the body, soul, and spirit.

Leading people to their inner strength, being a door opener for joy and fulfilling, deep moments, whether through stories or music, is a major concern for her. This is evident in every one of her titles.

The endearing and lively titles from the album “Summervogel” and the exciting snail adventure “De Schnägg Schlipf” on the memory card “Edelweiss” can be heard from Karin Glanzmann.

Have you ever heard of “Pumpelpitz”?

Simu Fankhauser, the former bagatello singer from Solothurn and PRIX WALO winner, is known throughout Switzerland as a children’s musician. His children’s songs and stories allow young listeners to immerse themselves in the world of the friendly forest goblin “Pumpelpitz“. “Tom Gisler” works as a multi-instrumentalist in the background, and so the young and old children experience a lively musical roller coaster that leaves them back in their world with a smile at the end.

Caring for nature, friendship, sustainability, and maintaining a positive attitude towards everything – entertaining with a high wink-rate.

Numerous stories & modern children’s songs as well as a reading book have been released in the meantime. Perfectly suitable for children from 3 to about 10 years old.

Mushy sameness is boring. Mush anyway! We focus on fun, adventure, and variety.

The children’s songs of «De Ärdbeerschorsch und d’Znüniband» take you on a musical journey as diverse and exciting as life itself.

Not just when it comes to the aroma of ice cream – tastes are, as is well known, different. We know: Some simply prefer vanilla. Whether chanson, rock, or folk music – with our songs you will encounter not only different music styles but also various dialects. The songs are about, for example, friendship, summer, or soccer. Besides the variety, fun is at the center. Fun with music and fun with life!

Cheerful collaboration of Central Swiss musicians, initiated by Fabrizio Raffa.

Let’s jump to the next artists now.

Hoppelihopp: These are heartfelt, funny, catchy, simply beautiful songs. The music professionals and sisters Eva and Katrin Zihlmann draw inspiration from the world of children when writing and composing: There’s rapping, dancing, and hopping in the morning, bathing with animals from the zoo, discovering nature in the forest, and the bear gets bearishly hungry and enjoys munching on his carrot. The album HOPPELIHOPP was awarded the “goldige Chrönli” by the Association for the Promotion of Swiss Youth Culture. “Hoppelihopp” is simply bunny-tastic!

At www.hoppelihopp.ch you’ll find more bunny-tastic information.

Even more Animal Stories?

Now we come to a fabulous, animal story of Switzerland with its animals, its culture, and music – Jimmy Flitz.

Roland Zoss doesn’t invent fantasy stories but skillfully connects old legends and cultures with the present. The dialect songs are musical gems. An animalistic-eccentric story that is deeply human and takes place in the most beautiful places in Switzerland. Multiple award-winning with the “Goldigen Chrönli” for outstanding quality productions.

But Roland Zoss can not only tell magical stories; his tree songs, lullabies, and many other titles are pure poetry.

Roland speaks 5 languages plus mouse dialects with his friend Jimmy Flitz. On his Mediterranean island, he has lived close to nature for 40 years and plants trees. He dedicated the albums «Baumlieder» to them.
