HMC Hightech Media Components GmbH & Co. KG is expanding the accessory range for the popular children’s audio player hörbert with a new pre-loaded memory card. With the “La Montagne secrète” edition, families and institutions now have access to a ready-to-play, curated selection of high-quality French-language music and stories.
The children’s audio player Hörbert stands for robust craftsmanship using domestic wood, durable technology and an intuitive operating concept with coloured buttons that works entirely without screens, internet connection or subscriptions. The new memory card complements the existing range of themed and language cards and can be used straight away without any prior configuration. Like all memory card editions, this memory card is also re-recordable and offers space for a total of 50 hours of audio content.
The new memory card contains a two-hour selection curated by the hörbert editorial team, drawn from a total of five albums for children. The content combines songs and narrated musical stories in French. The aim of the compilation is to offer children from around three to ten years of age a varied listening experience that links imaginative storytelling with high-quality musical accompaniment. Thanks to the allocation of the content to the player’s colourful buttons, children can navigate independently between the various songs and audio plays.
For the creation of the audio content, HMC relies on a licensing partnership with La Montagne secrète. Further content from the publisher is already included on the free French memory card, which customers can choose as a complimentary extra when purchasing a hörbert.
La Montagne secrète is a Canadian children’s book and music publisher based in Montréal. Since its founding in 2000, it has been producing musical and literary works that combine music, stories and illustrations.
