New as standard: USB-C charging function and power LED

Good news for all hörbert fans: hörbert 3.0 is here and comes with two handy new features as standard – a USB-C charging port and an LED power indicator. Both make everyday life with hörbert just that bit easier.

Charging via USB-C – more convenient than ever

You can now charge the four NiMH batteries conveniently straight in the hörbert via the new USB-C charging port. You no longer need to take anything out.

Best of all: it works with virtually any power adaptor you have at home – whether it’s a tried-and-tested USB power adaptor or a modern USB-C Power Delivery adaptor. Both work seamlessly.

And if hörbert doesn’t need to be portable for a change, you can even run it without any batteries at all. Simply plug in the USB power adaptor – and off you go.

By the way, chargers and cables are only available from us as separate accessories. We’re pretty sure that most households already have a whole collection of power adaptors and USB-C cables of all kinds lying about. We don’t want to add to that unnecessarily.

⚠️ Please note: Under no circumstances should disposable batteries be used in these headphones whilst a charging cable is connected.
Use only the NiMH rechargeable batteries intended for this purpose (type HR6, size AA)!

Always in view: the operating LED

We’ve also fitted hörbert with an operational status LED. You can now see at a glance what hörbert is doing: whether it’s playing, charging, or whether the Bluetooth functions or browser set mode are active.

Now fitted as standard – and, of course, available as a retrofit

All hörberts in our shop are now equipped with these two features.

And because a hörbert is designed to last a long time, the same rule applies as always: you can easily retrofit the new features yourself onto older hörberts – whether it’s a hörbert 2011 or a hörbert 2021 – or you can leave it to us, and we’ll be happy to do it for you in our workshop for hörbert 2011 or hörbert 2021.
