(or 17 hours for hörbert 2011)
The SD card is already formatted in FAT32 format.

Note for hörbert 2021 (with rotary knob for switching on/off):

If you want to prepare the card without the hörbert software for hörbert and load it with your own audio files – this is possible with a hörbert with Firmware Butterfly – then you must first connect the SD card to your computer via an SD card reader and access the SD card through your file manager (e.g. Windows Explorer or macOS Finder). Create 9 folders in the main directory of the card for the 9 playlists of hörbert. Name the folders from 0 to 8.

0 = dark purple button / 1 = red button / 2 = dark blue button / 3 = light green button / 4 = yellow button / 5 = dove blue button / 6 = light blue button / 7 = orange button / 8 = dark green button

Afterwards you can copy your own audio files into the playlist folders by drag&drop or copy&paste.

Note for hörbert 2011 (with toggle switch for switching on/off):

Important for hörbert 2011: This memory card is specifically tested for permanently low latency and is therefore also suitable for hörbert 2011. It is a Class4 memory card. Memory cards with high latency can cause stuttering in hörbert 2011 due to the built-in processor, which is the case with most commercially available Class-10 (and higher) cards.

To load the memory card with your own audio files, you need the hörbert software for this hörbert.
The hörbert software automatically creates the correct folder structure when reading the card.
