Hörbert presents: The new memory card edition “Kunterbunt”.

In cooperation with HELBLING Verlag, a playable new memory card with 70 children’s songs and two musical audio plays from a total of thirteen albums by HELBLING musik4kids has been created.

The sustainable children’s music player Hörbert arrives as a ready-to-play package with pre-recorded content on an SD card in children’s rooms. With the help of the free Hörbert software for macOS, Windows, or Linux, parents can also fill the memory card with their own music and audio plays on the computer.

Additionally, Hörbert manufacturer Winzki offers pre-recorded memory cards for purchase. This way, it is also possible to quickly obtain ready-to-play audio content without investing time on the computer. Brand new in the repertoire: The edition “Kunterbunt”, which was created in collaboration with HELBLING Verlag. HELBLING musik4kids offers high-quality audio content for children, focusing on creativity and quality over quantity.

The “Kunterbunt” edition contains more than 400 minutes of carefully curated songs and two exciting stories with music for children from 4 years old. Seven of Hörbert’s nine colorful buttons each contain a playlist with 10 songs, and two of the buttons each host an audio story with music. The songs have been compiled according to themes of everyday family life. Thus, the playlists are named, for example, “Curious & Naughty”, “Move & Dance”, “Animals”, “Wonders of Nature”, “On the Go”, “You and Me”, and “From all over the World”. Some songs, especially the titles from the playlist “From all over the World”, come from the project “The KIWI Songbook”, which contains 80 songs from almost 50 countries worldwide, each noted with its original text and a singable German text version.

The SME company WINZKI has been producing Hörbert since 2012. The audio player made from sustainable wood is a development by Managing Director Rainer Brang. Hörbert is handcrafted in Germany from high-quality materials and is also exported from there to several European countries and Switzerland. In 2019, approximately 7,000 Hörberts were built. In the last fiscal year 2019/2020, the company’s turnover, which currently employs 25 employees both full-time and part-time, amounted to approx. 1,500,000 EUR. In November 2019, Stiftung Warentest tested 13 music players for children. Hörbert emerged as the sole test winner with an overall grade of 1.8 in this test.
